With this poem, I can confer that people try to relate to others by being different. It’s important to understand how other people are able to do things better than ourselves. It’s like, you look up to them and you wish to adopt their traits. You don’t despise yourself and dislike them, but you learn to become them. How far would you go to recreate yourself as them? I would say far enough where you feel satisfied about yourself but knowing where and who you really were before the change. Just like Esporanza and how she accepts her old self once she wanted to change.
